May be I was wise for not upgrading to iPad2 and wait for 3D iPad 3!

Earlier last year I
reported
the sightings of lots of 3D patent submissions by Apple. The suggestion that Apple must have plans to introduce it in iOS technology is gaining traction with latest Hot Rumours by
RCRWireless
reporting that Hollywood is rather adept at telling compelling stories, and the latest plot to come out of the LA studios concerns Apple’s third generation tablet, already in the advanced planning stages and very much 3D, they’re told.
The rumour also makes sense from number perspective. For example, Apple is not the only Tablet Maker with eye on 3D. Also most certainly not the first one with Nintendo DS 3D already doing business on the game front. So Apple could call it 'iPad 3' or how about 'iPad 3D' however, I am usually wrong with the naming convention and Apple comes up with something different.
RCRwireless reports that: “The fact that the iPad 3 is 3D is a dead cert,” as the Hollywood insider close to the big movie studios told RCR, adding that the screen would be the real magic. She went on to say that the big film studios were currently running around like blue arsed flies trying to gear up to release plenty of 3D content in time for Apple’s next launch.
If you have some doubt and think this is just Hollywood’s gossip but the fact Apple is eyeing up a 3D tablet option is hardly surprising, with most of its competitors thinking along the same line. Even typically Johnny-come-lately RIM is said to be mulling a 3D version for its next PlayBook tablet, which should finally give The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) something substantial to work on.
The current version of the PlayBook also supports 3D video, however, has to be hooked up to a 3D enabled TV screen via HDMI for it to work – with glasses of course.
But the number of the Patent Applications by Apple for 3D related Technology is a good indicator of where Apple is going with this. If it is not iPad 3 - then for sure a higher price 3D option will be made available. See my last year
