This is a busy week for me with WebConnection in Germany and tomorrow trying to get a deeper understanding of Amazon from the system architect perspective. Although I am still skeptical about all the Hoo-ha about Cloud business, I thought I visit and check things out from horse's mouth.

In the past I have posted about my scepticism on the cloud computing bandwagon Part One here and part two here. We have all followed the recent outage by Amazon and now the industry recognizes the fact that if things can be hacked then at one point or another it will be hacked.

What attracted me about the tomorrow's even is the fact in general I am fairly new to the Cloud business and I am looking for more knowledge and therefore, a full-day conferences will provide enough information to navigate the Cloud. These events will feature a keynote address by Amazon.com CTO, Werner Vogels, customer presentations, how-to sessions, and tracks specifically designed for new and experienced users.
